Christmas Eve this year was pretty low key… We baked cookies for Santa, prepped our house guests the next day, and packed for an upcoming trip.
Y’all! We burned the cookies. I say we and not Kevyn because I’m pretty sure she asked me to get them out of the oven for her and when the timer went off, I thought they could use another minute or two and then I completely forgot. Spoiler alert: Santa still ate them.
My crew all dressed and ready to go to the Christmas Eve program at our church. Just look at those bare toes! That’s Christmas in Texas for you! Haha!
This year, Kevyn had the honor of being Mary. Cash was a camel and Gage a sheep.
Here comes some sheep!
My camel looks thrilled to be on stage. Haha!
I volunteered to be a row manager which entailed keeping the littles quiet during the program. Gage and I snapped a quick selfie when he was sitting with me.
I put together a little compilation of all the snippets of videos I took that evening. I know I’ll want to look back at this someday.
After the program, we went out to eat with my parents before returning home and preparing for Santa. We placed cookies by the fireplace and Kelby read Twas the Night before Christmas to everyone.
They were so excited for Santa to come!
That’s it for now! I have a BIG post about a trip we took right after Christmas that I need to work on!
