Anyone else super excited that September is here?
Even though it is crazy hot outside, I love fall and all it has to offer!
Our weeks are filled (ok, it’s more like busting at the seams) with kid sporting events and I just love it. Yes, our schedules can get kinda crazy, but watching my kids play sports is one of my very favorite things to do. The only thing I don’t like is when I have to miss somebody’s game because I’m with another child at their game.
Gage signed up to play soccer this year. We really didn’t know what to expect with him playing an organized sport but he has impressed us by how much he is getting it!

Both the girls are playing volleyball for their school. Kevyn is on our JV team and Kelby is on our Varsity team. Kevyn’s team has two games under their belt but Kelby’s first game won’t be until this Thursday. I just love watching them play but I’m especially excited to see Varsity play… They look really good at practice!
September also means the return of college football. Ok, give me a Saturday with soccer in the morning and an Aggie game to watch that afternoon/evening and that is pretty much a perfect Saturday in my book. Add in cooler weather and a pot of chicken tortilla soup and it might put me over the edge. Haha!
This past Thursday, we rushed to College Station after one of Kevyn’s volleyball games to watch the Aggies play! Ideally, my kids would not be out this late on a school night, but we really wanted to go to a football game and our Saturdays in the fall or jam packed.

I told you all in my last post we spent the weekend at a family reunion. We got home around noon on Monday and at one point that afternoon I found all four kids passed out in different places. I’m not even sure how this happened..

Cash is our cottage cheese eater. EVERY morning he requests a bowl of cottage cheese and either a small bowl of cereal or a granola bar. When the tub of cottage cheese is getting low, he counts the days until it is low enough he can eat straight from the tub. Those days are his FAVORITE!

That’s a little bit of our life lately… Hope you all have a great Wednesday!
