At the end of July, we loaded up and headed south for our Annual Cowen Family Port Aransas trip! As I’ve previously mentioned, we no longer all fit in Jeff’s truck (which is needed to pull our travel trailer) so we now have to drive separately. We were extra excited this day because prior to us leaving town, we had our last home visit! While I did like all the people we worked with throughout our adoption, I wasn’t a fan of always having people in our home. So after our home visit, Kelby, C, G, and I loaded up, grabbed some lunch, and then went and picked up Kevyn from a volleyball camp early so we could leave town.
Our days at the beach looked like this… breakfast, beach, lunch, beach, swimming pool, dinner, swimming pool, bed. Repeat. Every. Single. Day.
Guess what?!? C lost his first tooth at the beach! He was super excited the next morning to find that the tooth fairy even came to our trailer!
This boy is ALWAYS snacking!
Before leaving on our last day, I tried to gather up the cousins for a picture. This was the best I got… C is grumpy, Kevyn is making a duck face, and baby Luke is missing. Geez…
Until next time Port A!
